Oh Melissa, how precious. One year when my children were small I looked out the window and there was a white bunny in the back yard. The children were so excited, they were sure the Easter Bunny had really come. He was a neighbor's pet and we found the owner and got him returned. Such fun. May you and your family have a very Blessed and Happy Easter. Hugs, Marty

Happy Easter, Melissa! That baby bunny is so adorable!! We had a bunny family in my mom's yard when I lived at home and I was able to get one of the bunnies to eat a carrot out of my hand. It was so adorable!

What a cutie ! I have a family living outside my back patio and they come right up to the sliding glass door. Not afraid at all. When they get bored, or hungry they chew my neighbors flowers, which are lovely. Mine are not quite up to snuff yet. Hope your day was special -- I'm sure you made it so.

I think I'm gonna try to do my first Outdoor Wednesday like you suggested. Hope I can do all the linking up right! Take care, Sherri:)
When I was sixteen, someone gave me a pet rabbit. But it was so bad. And he never wanted to be petted or anything. He ended up having to live outside, we still fed him and all though. But he dug a real burrow by my mom's garden. It was so cute. He was a much better outside pet.
Hey Melissa - I am still very busy at work. You may remember that Kristen and I worked together - well - she took another job on March 30 and was doing some clean up to her computer before she left and accidentally deleted her blog in the process and hasn't had time to re-create it!! We had lunch yesterday and she is trying to get the hang of her new duties and I'm trying to keep her and my job going. Not sure that we are going to be able to fill her job - we work for the State and with the budget crunch - we have had to suspend everything!!
I miss everyone but not sure when I'll see the light at the end of this tunnel!!
oh Melissa, the REAL Easter bunny came to see you.how very sweet.i had a baby rabbit when i was young. My Dad found him in a pipe.for the life of me i cannot remember what happened to him.i don't think he died! i have a story for you.A Roo story.Over the wk-end i was in the kitchen and depending on which room we are in,Roo and i do different things.(it depends on the chairs, his long nails). i was holding him and rocking him.yes,I rock him.ha.see if you can imagine this,ok?he lays his little head on my left shoudler.i wrap my right arm behind his huge drumsticks.i hold his little head with my right hand.his feet with those long nails dangle.have you got the picture? well,i have rocked him since he was a baby.he always fights sleep because he is a rooster, right?he has a barnyard(house)to keep varments out of,right?he is always on watch............... my son and i were chatting away and it had been 15-20 min.all of a sudden Roo jumped straight up as he does when he is really scared.feet, claws, wings went everywhere.he screeched this awful noise. i was so shocked............i just kinda sat there.my son said ."what in the world got into him?"i had no clue.he had never done that before. later i figured it out.Roo,our fearlesss protector,i do believe had drifted off to sleep.haha and when he woke,he was startled,he didn't know "where"he was. then he was ashamed of himself.the rest of the evening he was like a little ghost.kinda in the background.HE WAS ASHAMED. hope you enjoyed the story.love ya...ann
