This is our home through the change of seasons.This photo was taken in the spring of 06'.
The day our brand new landscaping was installed.
We had been living for a few months with nothing
but dirt and a few bushes since our home was new.
I was so excited to have this completed.
This is the summer of 08' and this day was a scorcher.The landscaping had begun to mature.
Some trees had to be replaced for a heartier type.
It was a rainy fall day in 08' for this photo.I had just purchased a fall swag for the front door.
I finished the look with bright red mums.
We had snow in the winter of 09'.A few weeks ago we had a fair amount of it for
this part of coastal North Carolina. It was fun day!

I love the curly cue shrubs you have by your front door and the duo pots with red flowers on the stairs creates a perfect balance.

great idea! when i saw the photo of the hot day I LONGED to be able to walk outside--smell the fresh cut grass and the smell of the sprinkler. I'm getting ready.

I remember when our landscaper gave us the bill for the sod. It was over 3K and I gasped! He looked at me and said: "Yeah, that much for grass, and you can't even smoke it!"

Girlfriend...you'll never guess what my honey came carrying home with him last night...yep, you guessed it!!! My giveaway package arrived! Ohhhh...you should have seen me dancing all around and squealing...hehe!!! No joke!!! Russell thought I had lost my marbles...hehe!!!
Well...after taking photos of the box (I feel a blog post coming on)...I opened it and Ohhhhh myyyy goshhhh...I did another happy dance and squealed some more...hehe! When all the dust settled, I decided I would dig in and see all of my goodies! Girlfriend, you spoil me!!! I swear that my winning your giveaway was a "God thing"...you know, a crown I wanted so badly and then when I started to open all of the gifts...well, they are all soooo ME!!! Right down to the "Paris" stationery!!! It's like you went shopping specifically for ME! Okay...okay, I know that I'm just going on and on but as you can see, I'm a bit excited!!! Love the looks of different season. Do you have live plants in your urns on the front porch? I want to do something like that but I'm not sure if live would work here on the East Coast.
